The Festivals We’re Looking Forward to: 2018

There are so many festivals happening this year. These are our top choices for the best of 2018!

Ahhh, yes. Spring time is upon us, and you know what that means: the lineups and passes for our favorite festivals are being released to the public. And so far, everything that has been announced has been absolutely impressive.

Whether or not you want to be sweating and mashing hard on the concrete around the country, or if you want to spend a weekend on the Bay, there are plenty of festivals to look forward to and invest in. Here are our favorite festivals and their lineups for this year:

Alright friends, it’s here. The last round of Warped Tour is upon us. With their legendary set up and make, Vans is putting on the final lap around the U.S. as they get ready to put the punk baby to rest at the end of the summer. With 20+ years of being around, they did not fail us when putting together an amazing lineup for the last run. Don’t miss out on our favorites: Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, Broadside, Taking Back Sunday, 3OH!3, Mayday Parade, and many, many more. You’ve GOT to experience it before it’s too late…. and that’s not an exaggeration.

As a Bay Area native, I’ll always have a bias to their festivals because we’ve been extremely good at throwing them dating back to the 1960s or so. On August 10-12, 2018 this year, San Francisco is hosting the Outside Lands festival with artists and attendees that seem to be the most promising. Featuring our all-time favorites, the Growlers, FJM, Børns, and Chicano Batman, Outside Lands is setting up to be the best it can be. Ranger Dave and the Bay Area atmosphere are calling!

Lollapalooza

Between the food and the bands, Chicago never fails to give us the best. Lolla’s lineup is nothing short of absolutely wonderful. With possibly the best lineup I have ever seen, the festival is sold out and ready to be taken in by visitors from around the globe. This four-day festival is out to capture your hearts and your eardrums. Acts we’re looking forward to: Catfish and the Bottlemen (an absolute give-in), The Wrecks, LANY, Brockhampton, Arctic Monkeys, and the comeback of the century aka Vampire Weekend.

And the pièce de résistance and final shoutout of this post, BottleRock Napa! If you’re looking for a good way to kick off the summer with a chill festival, this is it. With a variety of artists to see and wines to taste, BottleRock is here to kick off your festival season right. With the beautiful Napa Valley air and atmosphere, you are guaranteed bliss throughout this three-day event at the end of May! We’re looking forward to being reunited with our faves: COIN, the Aces, and the Killers! You don’t want to miss the kick-off (or shall we say, pop-off?)!

With all these wonderful festivals coming up, it’s no wonder people are flocking by the thousands to grab their passes as fast as possible to be a part of the fun. You won’t want to miss out! And if you are planning to attend any of these, we hope to see you there!
