Childish Gambino Drops “Summertime Magic” and “Feels Like Summer”

Childish Gambino, A.K.A. Donald Glover, is on a roll this year, and his music prowess continues to make a cultural impact with the release of two summer jams.

Following his success in Atlanta: Robbin’ Season, his galactic journey in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and his political phenomenon in “This Is America,” the acclaimed rapper, singer, actor, director, and comedian debuts “Summertime Magic” and “Feels Like Summer” in his EP Summer Pack.

“Summertime Magic” and “Feels Like Summer” remind us to enjoy the best possibilities of the summer season. Both songs make us want to move, and they will top music charts before we know it.

In “Summertime Magic,” Glover plays a sweet and mellow tropical breeze that swoons us and our significant other during those hot summer nights. “Feels Like Summer” echoes the same vibe as Gambino’s soothing vocals and lyrics capture the essence of the summer atmosphere. The infectious sentiment these songs present will set the mood for us fans as “Summertime Magic” and “Feels Like Summer” are go-to summer anthems.

According to Michelle Kim and Jazz Monroe from Pitchfork, the two songs will “be on his upcoming fourth studio album, his first under new label Wolf+Rothstein/RCA.” Unfortunately, this album may be his last.

Before we complain about Gambino ending his music career soon, let us enjoy his run while we can. Donald has plenty of music left and he wants to finish his legacy with a BANG!

Donald, on behalf of the fans, we can’t wait on what you have in store for us!
